Happy New Year! It's nearly February and I'm just now blogging since before Christmas!
We had a quiet Christmas unpacking and celebrating with the kids. Santa brought our tree this year with all the presents. It was a great idea..thanks Aleta! Evan was so excited and it was a lot less stressful! We enjoyed the tree for the weekend before taking it down...it was stressing me out to have it up as well as so many boxes!
We spent the last week of 2010 unpacking and having new furntiure delivered it time for my mom and sister! I love our new home, I just wish I could make decisions on decorating! That part always is the hardest...especially when you have furniture/decor from two previous houses and trying to make each piece find its place. I haven't committed to any furniture or picture arrangements nor colors for the bedrooms! Evan received new bedding since we downsized him to a twin bed! I love it and can't wait to finish giving him an uber dino room! Emery's room is the easiest ...just need paint! Alex and I having been planning to redecorate our bedroom too. I know exactly what I want...just can't find the bedding! Slate blue walls with white trim, black/white picture gallery wall and feminine bedding! Love any suggestions!! :) The rest of the house....kitchen, family room, dining room and formal dining are a whole other process!
So, our new home is a work in progress.... here are the pictures we took when we were house hunting. It was staged...so none of the decor is ours, obviously!

Love your new house! So cute... I know your list to do is a mile long but you will eventually get there and you will be able to make it your own :) Can't wait to see more pics as the decorating progresses.
