It's so hard to say goodbye...Part One

First my apologies for all the crazy belated and out of order posts...that's about how my life has been for the last couple months!  We finally made it to California this week!  Minnesota did not let us leave without a blast of winter weather...a BLIZZARD!  We got 18 inches in one day (Friday into Saturday) then a few more and Monday when we left it was 30 below!  Despite the weather, it was so nice because we were staying with the Harts and all their sports/activities were cancelled for the weekend and we just hung out!

I threw a Goodbye Austin party for Evan and his friends at our NEW McDonalds on December 4th.  Many of his daycare friends came and it was sooo nice to watch them interact outside of Apple Lane.   Kallie and I made scrapbook pages  with their names on them so the kids could color and we could add their pictures.  Happy Meals for everyone and that made everyone smile!!  I brought in a cookie cake and everyone visited!

This pictures speaks volumes...this is Annalise.  She and Evan "got married" one day at Apple Lane.  She and Evan were photographed in the newspaper for a local fall event.  She is the apple of his eye. I will cherish this moment forever...just sweet puppy love....But remember Alex & I went to preschool together too and he moved around the country and returned to Marietta!!! who knows, right?
