Happy Halloween!

Halloween has been one of my favorite holidays ever!  But the last two years, we've had so much going on that I haven't been able to decorate, bake cookies or hand out candy!!!  Last year, we were still in the hospital with Emery and ventured out with Evan for an hour.  This year we are in the process of putting our house up for sale, packing for the kids to stay with our friends and leave for a house hunting trip in San Francisco!  Next year, I'll go all out and hope we've met some friends by then, lol!

Evan had two party at school this week.  He's been so excited to be Buzz Lightyear, but woke up each day wanting to dress up as Spiderman or Superman...both of which we do have!!!  I was able to stay and take pictures for Friday's class party before heading to work and it was so fun to watch!  Miss Angela had music playing while the kids were at different centers 1) pumpkin playdoh  2) bracelets  3) coloring

Evan decided the bracelet was not for him and headed to the boombox to start a dance party, alone!  He put his ear to the speaker and bounced his legs to the beat and then jumped and ran to the center of the floor.  One by one the kids joined him and I couldn't stop smiling!!!  He was hilarious and really initiated it!  I love our little man and the social goofball that he is!!

Emery's class had a party too, and we brought take n toss sippy cups with goldfish packets for her friends.  Her daycare is located at teh college so the kids go trick or treating to the college classes.  So cute and they love it!

Next stop, Hormel! Last year, the company cancelled trick or treating at the office because of H1N1, but we were all in full force this year!!  Alex loves taking the kids around and it's fun to catch up with everyone!!

We had a work party to celebrate fiscal year end ot attend that night and Kallie babysat 3 families at our house!!! She loved it and she has found her calling...I think!!  Sissa was still not feeling well so she stayed home and Evan asked about her on Saturday!  He's so thoughtful about everyone in his life!!

My little Buzz and Owl!!!  It was a brisk evening at 42 degrees and then it dropped to 35 by the time we got home!!!  The kids are staying all week with the Harts while we find our new home in California!!!  They are so excited for their adventure and so are the Harts....I'm so grateful for this family and hoping we find two houses next door to each other for sale in CAlifornia so they can move too!!!
