Evan's Word World

Sorry that we don't have pictures to share this week. Our camera stopped working this week and we haven't had a chance to go into town to purchase a new one. Words will just have to do this week!

Speaking of words, Evan is picking them up so fast. We taught him "Geor-gia" this week and he walks around saying it ...of course with the same emphasis on the syllables as we do the cheer. Every thing has become a cell phone to him. We were playing at Ava's house and he picked up a plastic corn on the cob and put it up to his ear to talk. Too funny!

He's been saying "Hi Kitty" for a while now--(it was his first words) and even when there is not a cat in sight. We've practiced pointing to facial features and when asked "Where's Evan's nose?" Evan finds his nose 89% of the time...the other 11% he pokes one of his eyes. It truly is amazing how fast he is catching on. Alex taught him to play "War" with their feet just the other day. Now, Evan will suddenly plop down in front of you and roll to his back and stick up his feet. It's hilarious how random he does it. One minute he's clapping with Barney, and playing and the next he walks right over to you and lay down ready to play. The boys give each other "High Fives" and Evan gets a huge kick out of it.

Hope to have pictures for you next week!
